At Thursday's weekly Cabinet meeting, Premier Chen Chien-jen received a briefing from the Executive Yuan's Department of Coordination and Planning on recent government policy achievements. The premier said he hoped the briefing would help bring to the public's attention the many achievements under President Tsai Ing-wen's leadership over the course of the past seven-and-a-half years. He asked all ministries and agencies to demonstrate this administration's commitment to transparent governance by reviewing the thoroughness and accuracy of their policy achievement reporting, and communicating more widely with the public to satisfy their right to information.
Premier Chen also instructed his administrative team to maintain a careful approach while dedicating their full efforts to policies advancing public welfare. He urged his team to continue strengthening the nation's path of pursuing democracy, freedom, diversity and rule of law, and to encourage all citizens to work together toward a more resilient and industrious Taiwan.
