The Executive Yuan's Office of Trade Negotiations will inaugurate a New Southbound service center in January to offer additional services to the public.
The center will have a window staffed by specialists ready to take requests, compile answers, and find solutions to problems, the office said. Establishing the center will help consolidate resources and feedback from all sectors while increasing private participation in the government's New Southbound Policy.
Services provided by the center include updates on the New Southbound Policy's plans and implementation, as well as information on financial support, skills training, international cooperation, and services for small and medium-sized enterprises. Operated by senior-level and experienced personnel, the center will also feature a service hotline and information website to process questions and requests swiftly and consistently. For special cooperative projects, a support task force may be formed in conjunction with the government agency concerned to provide assistance.
